Historical Olive-oil Mill from the 17th century, transferred into a very charming, characteristic villa located in a natural setting at the Cote d'Azur. The Mill is situated at a very small quiet road nearby the typical and very old village of Saint Jeannet.From the house you overlook the mountainside and the antique railroad-viaduct (no longer in use). Deep down, connecting the garden, is the river-stream "La Cagne", which provide a relaxed rustle-sound all over the garden.At the ground floor there's a very large living room, with television and fire-place. A large kitchen with fire-place, cooker with two ovens and all equipment necessaire (connecting wash-room). Acces to the garden.At the upper floor you'll find three bedrooms of which 2 have a bathroom. One bedroom has an outdoor, private little terrace.At an extra floor there is a large master-bedroom, with a stylish decorated bathroom. In the older days, this area used to be the storage-room for the olives.The garden is quiet. (except for the rustle sound of the stream down below). Situated fully southerly. The garden is composed of floors. Swimming pool, several terraces, BBQ outhouse, "Tahiti" bamboo-hut for the "Zen" ambiance.Lots of fruit trees, a camp of play-cabins for the children.
Nearby (touristical) villages as Vence and St. Paul de Vence with an importand art-, paintings- and gallery-character. Vence is well known for the summer music-festivals. A 30 minute drive will bring you at down-town old Nice, with georgeous petite shops, ancient alleyways, terraces, restaurants, and boulevard along the azure blue ocean. Monaco, Antibes and Cannes about 45 min. by car. The beaches nearby are Cagnes-sur-Mer (15 min.) and Juan-les-Pins (30 min.).The airport of Nice is about 15 min. driving.
